Navratri 2022 Day 7: Maa Kalaratri, the seventh incarnation of the goddess Durga, is worshipped on the seventh day of Navratri. Because of her dark black appearance, unkempt hair, three eyes, and four hands in the Abhaya and Varada mudras, Maa Kaalratri, also known as Goddess Shubhankari, is portrayed as a destructive form of the goddess. Her left hand is occupied with her astras.
• Rice, bhog, flowers, incense sticks, ganga jal, dry fruits, and panchamrita are used in the puja.
• Maa Kaalratri's favourite flower is jasmine, which blooms at night; thus, jasmine is offered to the goddess during the puja to appease her.
